For those who do not have insurance coverage, I offer an in-person, no fee consultation. I believe everyone, regardless of income, should be able to receive quality mental health care. Therefore, I work as an in-network provider for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. For those who do not have insurance coverage, I can provide a sliding scale fee, if needed.
I have outlined my office and business policies below. Please feel free to let me know if you have questions about any of them.
Fees and insurance:
The established fee is for a fifty-five (55) minute session. Currently, my fee is $200. I re-evaluate my fees once a year, but no change will occur without prior notification.
I feel strongly that good mental health care should be available to everyone, regardless of income. To that end, I have continued to participate with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I am also able to slide my fee scale, if needed.
Payment for Services:
Clients are expected to pay for services at the time they are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made. If any problem arises during the course of your therapy regarding your ability to make timely payments, please let me know. Unless other arrangements have been made, please remember that professional services are rendered and charged to the client, not the insurance company. I will provide you with a receipt, which you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
In the event you must cancel a session or reschedule a session it is important that you let me know as soon as possible. If you provide less than 24 hours notice of cancellation I will have to charge you for the session. Payment for missed or canceled sessions is due at our next appointment. Please note that insurance companies will not pay for sessions that you do not attend; therefore, you would be financially responsible for the full charged rate.

To call me please use (203) 293-4427. I check my voicemail everyday until 9:00pm. If I am unavailable please leave me a voicemail and I will make every effort to return the call as soon as possible. If I should be out of town I will inform you in advance and will always make arrangements for coverage in case of emergencies. The coverage information will also be provided on my voicemail.
